1900 miles. South from San Francisco then through the Pacheco Pass. Across the Central Valley to Bakersfield. The next day over the Southern Sierra on Route 178 through the Kern River Canyon. The Owens Valley, Manzanar and a night in Lone Pine. On to Death Valley for the night and then down to Joshua Tree National Park for a few days. Head to the coast with a stop in Pasadena and a night Ventura. Slowly making my way to Morro Bay for the last night of the trip before heading home.
